University of Liverpool 是一所位於英國利物浦市的研究型大學。大學創立於 1881 年，是著名的 Russell Group 和 N8 Research Partnership 的創始成員，其商學與管理學院也是 Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) 成員之一。

University of Liverpool 開創了世界上最早的建築系，是英國第一所授予 RIBA 認證建築學位的大學。在 2024/25 Guardian league tables 建築排行榜上排名第 3，在 Times Higher Education 排行榜上排名第 7，是英國首屈一指的建築研究和教育中心之一。理工科亦很出名，例如機械工程、建築和城市規劃等。醫療相關學科、科學及人文學科都有傑出表現，而它的物理治療、職業治療學科也深受香港學生歡迎。此外，法學學院是英國最古老的法學院之一。根據 Academic Ranking of World Universities 排行榜，在英國排名第 6，全球排名 51 - 75 位。

校園的核心仍然是大學原來的紅磚建築 Knowledge Centre Campus，距離利物浦市中心約五分鐘步行路程。作為主校區，大部分教學設施和學術部門以及共享研究設施的所在地。它還擁有一系列其他重要設施，包括學生會、圖書館和餐飲場所。Knowledge Centre Campus 分為三個主要區域 :

North campus - 位於 Liverpool University Hospital NHS 基金會附近，是 Health and Life Sciences 學院所在地。
Central campus - 位於大都會大教堂附近，是 Science and Engineering 學院、學生會和許多其他設施的所在地，包括 Harold Cohen Library 和各種商店和咖啡館。
