University of Western Australia (UWA) 是西澳州首府 Perth 的一所公立研究型大學。該校於1911 年 開始成為大學。UWA 是 Western Australia (WA) 最古老的大學，也是澳州第六古老的大學。由於其歷史和聲譽，大學被列為“ sandstone universities ”之一，這是對每個州最古老的大學的非正式稱呼。University of Western Australia 亦是澳洲「八大」傳統名牌大學之一，該集團由八所研究最密集、排名最好的澳州大學組成。

大學被評為世界前 100 所大學之一。它在各個領域中對西澳和國家發展與繁榮皆有貢獻。大學培養出澳洲總理 Bob Hawke，五位最高法院法官，七位西澳州長、儲備銀行行長 H. C. Coombs 及一位諾貝爾獎得主。截至2021年，該大學已培養了106名 Rhodes Scholars。
