Curtin University 是西澳州首府珀斯 (Perth) 的一所公立研究型大學。成立於 1966 年，前身為 Western Australian Institute of Technology。1986年升格為大學，並重新命名為「Curtin」，直到2010年，正式改名為 Curtin University。大學於西澳珀斯、新加坡、馬來西亞、迪拜、毛里求斯均有分校。

Curtin University 主校區毗鄰珀斯 (Perth) 的所有景點，擁有佔地 116 公頃的大膽建築，坐落在風景優美的花園中。該校區位於世界第 12 名最適合居住的城市（EIU 2023）風景秀麗的天鵝河畔。自 1966 年成立以來，已發展成為西澳最大、最多元化的大學之一。大學距離市中心約 15 分鐘車程，有許多便捷、安全、實惠且環保的方式前往校園及其周邊地區。大學擁有來自世界各地的超過 58,000 名學生，被評為世界上最國際化的大學之一，在《泰晤士報高等教育》世界大學排名中位居全國第 9 位。

Curtin University 因其與行業的緊密聯繫、高影響力的研究和廣泛的創新課程而受到全球認可，大學更設有 Innovation Central Perth、Bankwest Curtin Economics Centre、Telethon Kids Institute、Centre for Crop and Disease Management、Curtin-ChemCentre Alliance、WA Data Science Innovation Hub 等科技與教育中心，用以支持和幫助各專業行業發展。是全澳洲六所大學提供專業精算學課程的其中之一。另外，以 Perth 為首的城市持續發展，其 Construction Management and Economics 在澳洲業界亦享有盛名。

大學課程著重實踐，為學生提供寶貴的現實經驗，並提高畢業後的就業能力。向經驗豐富的教學人員學習，並透過實地考察、實習、實踐作業、客座講師和社交活動接觸業界並從中受益。
除此之外，大學與全球90 多家機構建立了合作夥伴關係，包括美國鋁業(Alcoa)、澳洲阿茲海默症協會(Alzheimer's Australia)、西澳銀行(Bankwest)、必和必拓(BHP Billiton)、西澳洲癌症委員會(Cancer Council Western Australia)、雪佛龍(Chevron)、聯邦科學與工業研究組織(CSIRO)、力拓(Rio Tinto)、自來水公司(The Water Corporation) 和伍德賽德(Woodside)。

透過與澳洲和國際上一些最大的公司合作，Curtin University 確保其研究和教育具有相關性，以便提高畢業時獲得高就業率。在 2021年《Good Universities Guide》中，大學在學習者參與度和技能發展方面獲得了五星級評級。

Curtin University 在澳州擁有五個校區：

Curtin Perth -主校區位於西澳州 Bentley，距離 Perth 中央商務區東南約 6 公里。
Curtin Murray Street - 位於 Perth 中央商務區，是商學院和法學院的所在地。
Curtin St Georges Terrace - 以創建會議室以及用於專業發展和研究生課程的學習空間。
Curtin Kalgoorlie - 是全球知名的西澳礦業學院的營運基地：礦物、能源和化學工程。
Curtin Midland - 是醫療和教育中心的所在地。
